HPXfresh® evaporative cooling Vests
Initially HeatPaxx® provided cooling vests mainly to sports related clients, as their effectivness in sports was scientifically proven. Through interaction with several multiple-sclerosis groups we have learned, that cooling is also useful to reduce the effects of the Uhthoff Phenomenon, the use of cooling vests was recommended by the medical advisory board of the DMSG. HPXfresh® cooling vests and cooling wraps were adapted accordingly to meet the requirements of the affected. During the latest heat-waves our HPXfresh® cooling vests were intensively required in the field of work safety, as cooling is proven to reduce the effects of heat induced fatigue and thus also can help to reduce the risk of accidents at work.
